A FLXPOD needs more than a patch of ground matching its exterior dimensions. The site must support training around the pod, delivery access, and the requirements of your location.

Start with a potential location, approximate measurements, and the work you want the space to support. The project review turns those starting points into specific requirements.

SITE FOOTPRINT

The structure is only part of the footprint

FLXPOD's published nominal exterior dimensions are 20 feet long, 8 feet wide, and 9.5 feet high, with two open training bays.

The surrounding area is part of the training environment. Allow for equipment use, movement, circulation, and supervision. Delivery and placement may require additional access and working space.

Confirm the full layout before beginning site work. The exterior dimensions are not a foundation plan.

SITE REVIEW

Six things to review

Location and usable training area

Look at proximity to practice and the space around the pod. Plan how athletes enter, use stations, and return to practice without crossing active training areas unnecessarily.

Delivery access

Review the route from the property entrance to the proposed location. Gates, turns, overhead obstructions, ground conditions, and unloading space can affect the delivery approach. Confirm the placement method for the actual project.

Foundation

A suitable foundation must be established for the site and configuration. Don't order a slab or start anchoring work from website dimensions alone.

Drainage and surfaces

Review where water collects, how drainage will be managed, and which surfaces support the planned training. Consider the conditions the site will face during normal use.

Electrical needs

Confirm the requirements of the selected configuration and who will provide the appropriate electrical work. The website does not establish a universal electrical service specification.

Approvals

Identify applicable local requirements and your organization's internal approvals early. Responsibility for reviews, permits, and inspections belongs in the project scope.
