SESSION DESIGN
Describe the session first
How many athletes arrive together? What work will they do? Who supervises them? Which equipment needs to be available at the same time?
Those answers are more useful than a long wish list. They help identify what belongs in the pod, what happens around it, and where equipment conflicts could occur.
REVIEW QUESTIONS
Bring these questions to the configuration review
- Which racks, training equipment, and storage arrangements fit the intended work?
- Can equipment you already own be used appropriately in the plan?
- Are there school branding or finish requests to evaluate?
- Does the location introduce particular access, weather, or utility considerations?
- Are you requesting a feature beyond the published configuration?
These are discussion areas, not a catalog of guaranteed options. Compatibility, feasibility, and availability must be confirmed.
FEASIBILITY
Review a request before promising it
A change can affect clearances, structural requirements, electrical needs, delivery, maintenance, or price. Requests should be evaluated against the full system and site.
The outcome may be an approved option, a different way to achieve the same goal, or a recommendation to keep the existing configuration.
NEXT STEP
Put the final choices in the scope
Before purchase, confirm the equipment list, arrangement, finishes, selected options, exclusions, price, and timing. Document later changes through the agreed project process.
Customization should make the space easier to use. If a feature creates more problems than it solves, it's worth reconsidering.
